Bridebook alternative: how WhiteClover compares
Bridebook is free for couples and says so plainly. Their support centre says every couple can use Bridebook completely free, from the moment they start planning right through to their wedding day.
So this page is not an argument about price. It is about the seating chart, which their published tools list does not include, and about planning in more than one language.
WhiteClover is software, so you can use it wherever you are marrying. Every claim here about Bridebook links to a Bridebook page, with the date we checked it.

So which one should you use?
Bridebook is a genuinely good free product for a UK wedding, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Here is where it fits and where it does not.
Choose Bridebook if…
- You are marrying in the UK and want the biggest UK venue and supplier search to browse through. Search is the first tool their homepage names.
- You want a budget tool sitting in the same app as that search.
- You are planning entirely in English and none of your guests need another language.
- You want the core planning tools to cost nothing. Their support centre is explicit that they do.
Choose WhiteClover if…
- You need a seating chart. Ours is free, drag and drop, and the finished plan exports for your venue.
- You need Greek and English side by side: the dashboard you plan in, the page your guests open, and the automated emails.
- You are marrying outside Britain, or planning a destination wedding, and a UK venue search is not the search you need. Our own supplier directory covers Greece and destination weddings.
- You want guests posting photos and video to a private feed from a QR code, with nothing to download.
Sources for every claim on this page
We only publish claims about Bridebook that we can point at on a Bridebook page. Anything we could not verify has been left off rather than guessed at. All links checked 29 August 2026. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

Where we could not find a claim on a Bridebook page, we left it out rather than guessing. Note the wording in the seating chart row: we say what their published tools list does and does not include, which anyone can check, rather than what their product does or does not do, which we cannot see from outside. Prices change, so confirm current figures on bridebook.com.
