SMS Messaging Terms

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These terms describe the SMS (text message) programme that WhiteClover operates for event hosts and the guests they invite.

Who sends these messages

Messages are sent by WhiteClover, operated by Nima Project Ltd (United Kingdom), company number 13152926. WhiteClover is an event-planning platform: each message is requested by the host of the event you were invited to and is delivered through WhiteClover on that host’s behalf.

Programme description

Event hosts using WhiteClover send messages only to guests they personally invited. Messages are limited to:

  • Save-the-Date announcements for the event.
  • RSVP requests and RSVP reminders.
  • Event-day logistics — times, venue, travel details and schedule changes.

We do not send promotional or marketing messages to guests, and guest phone numbers are never sold or shared for marketing.

Message frequency

Messaging is event-driven, not recurring. A guest typically receives a few messages per event — for example a Save-the-Date, an RSVP request, a reminder, and a message close to the event day. There is no ongoing subscription and no recurring marketing campaign.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply.

WhiteClover does not charge guests for these messages. Any charge comes from the guest’s own mobile carrier under their plan.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Once you opt out, we stop sending you messages for that event.

Reply HELP for help.

How consent is obtained

A guest receives messages only where one of the following applies:

  • The guest supplied their own mobile number — to the host directly, or through a WhiteClover invitation or RSVP page — and opted in to being contacted about the event.
  • The host confirmed that they have the guest’s permission to be contacted about the event.

By using WhiteClover to message guests, the host confirms that they hold that permission. Consent covers only the event the guest was invited to, and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.

Agreeing to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
