Bakeas DJ is a wedding DJ service based in Kalamata, led by Elias Bakeas — a professional DJ with more than 20 years behind the decks at Messinian wedding receptions.

A personal approach to every wedding

Elias personally covers most weddings, meeting the couple beforehand to map out the music for the ceremony exit, the welcome, the first dance, the Greek section and the dance floor. The brief he keeps repeating: the best wedding parties don't happen by accident — they need preparation and someone behind the booth who reads the room.

A small DJ team since 2022

Since 2022, Bakeas has grown into a small wedding DJs team. When Elias is double-booked or the venue is outside Kalamata, the couple gets matched with one of the team's djs — same prep meetings, same playlists shared in advance, same equipment standard.

Where we play

Kalamata and the wider Messinia region (Pylos, Methoni, Stoupa, Kardamyli, Mani) and across the Peloponnese. Indoor halls, beach venues, ktimata with outdoor dance floors — the rig and the playlist adapt to the space.

Most couples meet Elias once before the wedding to walk through the running order — ceremony, entrance, first dance, cake cut, the Greek section, late-night set. We share a shortlist and a "do not play" list so nothing slips through.

For destination couples coming to Messinia, the planning happens by video call and email. We work with the venue's coordinator and the photo/video team so cues land on time.

Bakeas brings a complete wedding rig: line-array speakers and subs sized to your guest count, wireless handheld and lapel microphones for the ceremony and toasts, and dance-floor lighting.

The optional FunBooth 360° video booth is a guest favourite for late-night content — a self-serve booth that hands every guest a shareable clip from the dance floor.
