Cycladic Events is a luxury wedding and event planning agency based in Naxos, in the heart of the Cyclades. Founded and led by Joanna Verikokkou, our team crafts sophisticated celebrations inspired by the islands' light, stone, sea and slow rhythm — sur-mesure events that reflect each couple's vision and the character of Naxos.

A planner with depth of experience

Joanna brings more than 25 years of management experience and certifications in wedding planning, events management and protocol (Kapodistrian University, IAPCC). Since 2020 she has led Cycladic Events full time, building a trusted network of local vendors across Naxos, Paros, Antiparos, Mykonos, Santorini, Koufonisia and the Small Cyclades.

From the first consultation you sense a different kind of attention: hands-on, calm, and detailed. We listen first, then translate your story into a coherent celebration — venue scouting, design language, vendor selection, timeline, hospitality and on-the-day orchestration. Many of our weddings are destination weddings for international couples who want a Greek island feel without compromise on quality or logistics.

The Cycladic Pavilion

Cycladic Events also runs The Cycladic Pavilion, a private events venue on the island — an option for couples who want a curated, exclusive setting on Naxos without piecing together a venue search from scratch.

Naxos is the largest island of the Cyclades — vast sandy beaches on the west, marble mountain villages inland, Venetian Kastro alleys in the old town, and quiet chapels with cross-Aegean views. It is easier to reach than Santorini or Mykonos (direct flights from Athens and frequent ferries) and far calmer once you arrive, which makes it ideal for multi-day destination weddings with 30 to 200 guests.
