DJ John Kouros is a professional wedding and event DJ based in Chalkida, Evia, working directly with couples since 2008 — no agencies, no middlemen. After more than 400 wedding receptions and 200 baptisms, John knows how to read a Greek dance floor and keep it moving from the first song to the last guest.

John runs a showroom office in downtown Chalkida with truss systems, moving heads, LED par, lasers and pro speakers set up the way he uses them at a real wedding. Couples can sit down with him, hear the sound, see the lights and plan the night in detail — entrance song, cake cut, first dance, the moment the party turns wild.

John brings his own DJ and PA equipment, plus a full lighting and effects rig: moving heads, LED par, lasers, smoke and dry ice, confetti cannons and cold sparkles for the first dance. Everything is set up by him with backup machines on site and a second technician throughout the event — so the music never stops.

John starts most weddings with a touch of traditional Greek music for the couple and family, then opens up the floor with disco 80s, Greek pop, modern Greek hits, R&B, rock, Latin, club and dance. He listens to song requests at the booth, and refreshes his library every season so the set list never feels dated.
