Giorgio Missirlis (George Misirlis) has been behind the decks at weddings and clubs across Greece for more than 25 years. He launched the Wedding DJ brand in 1988 after years of playing Athens nightlife and private celebrations, and today couples book him for receptions from Kallithea and Attica to Mykonos, Santorini, Sifnos, Naxos, Crete and other islands.

Engineering background, live-room instinct

Giorgio studied electrical engineering, which shows in how he runs sound systems, lighting rigs and special effects on the night. He reads the room quickly — switching between Greek laïka, international hits, 80s–00s, R&B, disco and house so grandparents, friends from abroad and the bridal party all find a moment on the floor.

Winter residency, summer weddings

In winter he is resident DJ at Aquarela Restaurant Bar in Arachova, a favourite stop for skiers and weekend visitors. In wedding season his team travels with professional PA, decorative lighting, illuminated letters and fireworks so island venues and mainland estates get one coordinated party setup.
