Wedding Stories is the wedding photography studio of Ioannis M., based in Volos and working across Thessaly, the Pelion peninsula and destinations throughout Greece and Europe. After years behind the camera, Ioannis focuses on making couples feel at ease so the day unfolds naturally while every glance, detail and celebration is recorded in a creative, genuine way.

Writing your wedding story

Each wedding is treated as its own narrative. Recent work includes celebrations for couples such as George & Georgia, Vaggelis & Zeta and Nikos & Elisavet, along with destination sessions — from a Day After shoot in Venice for Petros & Tania to weddings for Greek couples living abroad who return home for their celebration.

Ioannis travels for wedding photography and pregnancy sessions when the story calls for it, always looking for unexpected light, honest emotion and the small moments that sit between the formal programme.

The process starts with a conversation about your date, venue and priorities — whether you want an almost invisible photographer during speeches or more direction for portraits after the ceremony.

On the day, Ioannis moves between groom and bride preparations, the ceremony and the reception, capturing candid reactions as well as composed portraits when there is time. Couples who have lived abroad often choose a multi-location celebration in Greece; others book a dedicated Day After session to extend the story beyond the wedding night.

The goal is simple: images that feel like your day, not a template — with colour, composition and timing that respect the atmosphere you built.

Volos and Magnesia are home base, including weddings in the city, on the Pagasetic Gulf and in Pelion villages. Assignments regularly extend across Thessaly and to other regions of Greece — Kavala, Athens, island venues and countryside estates.
