DJ Kos Events — DJ (Athens)

DJ Kos Events is an Athens-based wedding DJ company founded by Kostantinos "DJ Kos" Mavis, an NTUA electrical-engineering graduate who has been DJing weddings, baptisms and private parties since 2004. The team works across Attica, the Cyclades (Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Ios, Sifnos), the Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos), the Saronic islands (Spetses) and on the mainland up to Thessaloniki.

The DJ team

Every wedding is matched to one of the resident DJs:

• DJ Kos — founder and event manager, international destination weddings
• DJ Andrew — Greek traditional, tsifteteli, zeibekiko, disco and rock'n'roll
• DJ Antonios — 20+ years on the decks, expert in mixed Greek/international wedding crowds
• DJ Golden — Rn'B, trap and Greek dance tracks; also handles children's parties

Each DJ has at least 500 events under their belt and brings their own backup gear.

Sound, lights and effects in one truck

The standard 8-hour wedding package covers reception plus dance floor with high-end PA up to 500 guests, wireless microphones, intelligent moving heads, lasers, smoke and dry-ice machines for the first dance, and ground & aerial fireworks (4-, 6-, 8- or 12-shot sets up to 6 m, including pool-edge configurations). Couples send their own playlist in advance and song requests are accepted throughout the night.

The team mixes Greek traditional, nisiotika, kritika, pontiaka, laika and mainstream international sets on the same night:

• Greek dance — tsifteteli, zeibekiko, syrtaki, kalamatiano
• Island and Cretan — for the glentia and table sets
• Disco, Rock'n'Roll, Latin — for older guests and dinner
• Pop, RnB, Dance, Trap — for the late-night dance floor

Couples can send a written playlist in advance, and song requests are taken from guests throughout the reception.

DJ Kos Events travels for destination weddings across the Greek islands and the mainland. The team has built dedicated logistics for Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Ios, Sifnos, Skiathos / Skopelos / Alonissos and Spetses, and regularly works in Thessaloniki and central Greece.

For events outside Attica the team brings its own sound, lighting and effects equipment, so couples in remote venues do not have to source local gear.
