Dream Weddings Mykonos is a boutique luxury wedding planning agency based on Mykonos year-round. Founded in 2010 by Margarita Samanoglou, a born-and-raised local, we design and coordinate destination weddings for couples travelling from across the world to marry on one of Greece's most iconic islands.

The team

Margarita Samanoglou leads consulting, planning and design with a background in Marketing Management (Deree, American College of Greece) and a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Communications and PR. Evelina Vakali joined the team in 2019 as head of client communication and now serves as associate event planner, overseeing vendors, wedding design and on-the-day coordination.

Mykonos is one of the world's most sought-after destination wedding locations. The island combines the Aegean Sea, dramatic Cycladic light, whitewashed chapels and a reputation for cosmopolitan hospitality that makes it equally suited to a quiet elopement and a full-week celebration.

Most of our couples spend 3 to 7 days on the island with their guests. We help shape that itinerary so the wedding day sits naturally inside a wider experience — beach welcome dinners, sunset cruises, private villa parties and morning-after brunches — without anyone losing sight of the wedding itself.

We work closely with luxury villas, 5-star hotels, traditional chapels and beachfront venues, including private estates that are not publicly listed and only accessible through local relationships built over more than a decade.

Every wedding starts with a structured planning checklist so we understand your vision, guest count, budget range and priorities before we recommend anything. From there we build a tailored proposal, lock in venue and core vendors, and move into design and logistics.

In the months before the wedding, our team handles vendor coordination, contracts, timeline and guest experience. On the wedding day, we are on the ground from setup to last guest — discreet, hands-on and focused on letting you be fully present while everything unfolds around you.

Because we are local and year-round, we are reachable easily, we can do site visits at short notice, and we are physically present at every venue and vendor we recommend.
