DJ Kostas Kollias — DJ (Athens)

DJ Kostas Kollias is an Athens-based wedding and event DJ with over two decades behind the decks. Originally from Kymi and raised in Athens, Kostas studied as a network engineer in Cape Town, South Africa before returning to Greece in 2001 to follow his real passion — music.

Twenty years on the decks

His journey started in 1999 with electronic music production. By 2002 he was playing across Athens as a resident and guest DJ at well-known clubs, and from 2004 he focused on weddings, baptisms and private events while still making guest appearances around Attica and beyond.

A dance-floor that never empties

Kostas is known for a dance-oriented programme and a hands-on, professional approach. He builds each playlist with the couple — drawing from a deep, constantly updated music library across Greek and international genres — so the floor stays full from the first dance to the last song at sunrise.

Step 1 — Get in touch. Send your date and venue through the booking form on kostaskollias.gr or via Instagram. Kostas confirms availability and answers your first questions.

Step 2 — Planning call. A relaxed conversation about the couple's story, music taste, must-play and do-not-play lists, and the flow of the day (church, reception, first dance, party set).

Step 3 — Build the playlist together. Using Spotify-hosted reference playlists, you fine-tune the music for each part of the night. Greek classics, international hits, lounge for dinner, club energy after midnight — whatever fits you.

Step 4 — On the night. Kostas arrives early, sets up sound and lighting, runs sound-checks, and then reads the room all night long. The result is a dance floor that genuinely doesn't empty until guests are asked to leave.

Based in Athens, Kostas covers the wider Attica region (Athens Riviera, Sounio, Lavrio, Marathon, Spata, Koropi, Markopoulo) and travels across Greece on request — from Aitoloakarnania and central Greece to the islands.
