Elite Mobile Entertainment, DJ & Music (Tucson)

Elite Mobile Entertainment is a wedding DJ and MC service based in Tucson, Arizona, founded in 2015 and working weddings and private events across the state. It is owner operated: whoever runs the planning calls is the same person standing behind the decks on the night.

Its own site is blunt about who it is for. "The couples that book me are the ones who want their wedding to actually sound like them, not like a template with their names swapped in." In practice that means the set is built out of planning conversations rather than a submitted playlist, and the number of weddings accepted each year is capped so every couple gets the same preparation.

Ceremony to last song

One booking covers ceremony sound, cocktail hour and dinner at a level guests can talk over, and a full reception system with dance floor lighting. DJ and Master of Ceremonies are the same person, and backup equipment travels to every event. Most weddings here run 120 to 180 guests, though smaller and larger receptions are both in scope.

Tucson base, statewide reach

Regular dates run through Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills and Dove Mountain, and north to Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Sedona. Venues worked repeatedly include The Treasury 1929, Tanque Verde Ranch, Skyline Country Club, Stillwell House, Tubac Golf Resort, Hacienda del Sol, The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain and Westin La Paloma, plus Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, where Elite Mobile Entertainment is the in-house exclusive AV provider.

Elite Mobile Entertainment publishes its rates instead of quoting only on enquiry. The base wedding booking starts at $3,495, and its own pricing page puts most couples between $4,200 and $4,800 once enhancements such as uplighting or a photo booth are added. A signed contract is required for every event.

There are no bronze, silver and gold tiers. Enhancements get chosen after the planning conversations rather than guessed at upfront, and can be added at any point after booking. Overtime is not normally charged when a reception runs past its planned finish.

The Knot rates Elite Mobile Entertainment 4.9 out of 5 across 75 reviews, with Hall of Fame status and five Best of Weddings wins. WeddingWire shows 5.0 out of 5 across 67 reviews and five consecutive Couples' Choice Awards, 2019 through 2023.

Closer to home, the business has won Arizona Bride Best DJ twice and reached the final four times, and has taken AZ Foothills Magazine Best Music Entertainment every year since 2023. Its own site also lists seven consecutive years as Wedding Rule's top Tucson DJ, and more than 700 weddings and private events since 2015.

Cooler months fill first in southern Arizona. The busy run is September through April or May, and a prime autumn Saturday is usually gone a year out. Elite Mobile Entertainment takes one full service wedding per day and asks couples who care about entertainment to book 12 to 18 months ahead.

Inside six weeks it says plainly that the full planning process no longer fits, and refers those enquiries to an associate DJ rather than charging the full rate for less. Multicultural ceremonies and LGBTQ+ couples are explicitly welcomed.
