Luxury Events Bardopoulos — DJ (Afantou)

Luxury Events Bardopoulos is a Rhodes-based DJ and event services company founded by Thanos Bardopoulos, who has been mixing professionally since 1999. Based on the 23rd kilometre of the Rhodes–Lindos road in Afantou, the team has covered hundreds of events across Rhodes and the Dodecanese.

What we do

We provide music, sound and lighting coverage for weddings, baptisms, christenings, corporate parties, receptions and private celebrations. From welcome drinks to the last dance, the playlist is built around your guests, the venue and the moment — a mix of modern Greek, international classics, Afro House, melodic techno and lounge.

How we work

We accept one event per day so the setup, soundcheck and music direction get full attention. Every job starts with a meeting to plan the timeline, song requests, ceremony cues, first-dance choice and language mix. Equipment is sized to the venue — beach, garden, courtyard, ballroom or a private villa in Lindos or Afantou — with PA, monitors, microphones and dedicated lighting that match the space.

Thanos Bardopoulos has been a resident DJ in Rhodes since 1999 and has produced original tracks and remixes with millions of YouTube plays. That background shapes the wedding sets: an early-evening lounge and dinner flow that lets people talk, a Greek and international dance-floor block that opens the party, and an Afro House / melodic techno section for guests who want to keep going.

Couples send a list of must-play songs, do-not-play tracks, first dance and family entrance picks; the rest is read off the room. International and bilingual weddings get a deliberate Greek + English balance so guests from both sides stay on the floor.

The base is Afantou, Rhodes, on the Rhodes–Lindos road, which keeps Lindos, Kallithea Springs, Faliraki and the east-coast beach venues within easy reach. Weddings and parties have been covered in venues across the island, plus Symi, Tilos, Chalki, Kos and other Dodecanese destinations when couples bring guests to a private villa or resort.

For destination couples we coordinate directly with the wedding planner, venue manager and photographer so the timeline, ceremony sound and lighting cues are locked in before guests arrive.
